Build Your Own Infuser & Yerba Mate Bundle

Pick your infuser, pick your yerba, and save. Choose the Flamenco for a single hot cup, the Ballena for cold brewing a pitcher, or both, then pair it with a Salta blend or a go bag of our Corrientes. It arrives ready to brew, with a drip tray in every infuser.

Choose your infuser
The Flamenco winged basket rests on a mug for one clean cup. The Ballena cold brews a whole pitcher overnight. Take one, or both.

Choose your yerba
Salta Sunrise, our hibiscus yerba mate blend. Salta Sunset, our caffeine-free herbal blend. Or a go bag of Corrientes, our smooth traditional yerba mate.

A drip tray with every infuser
Each infuser ships with its own stainless steel drip tray, so it has somewhere to rest between steeps.

Loose leaf, no gourd needed
A simpler way into yerba mate and tea. No gourd to set up, and nothing to throw away.

Save when you bundle
Every combination is priced below buying the pieces on their own.

This bundle is made to order, so the specifics depend on what you choose. Full specs live on each product’s own page.

Infusers: Food-grade stainless steel, dishwasher safe, each with a drip tray. Flamenco rests on a cup or mug; Ballena cold brews a pitcher and fits pitchers and thermoses.

Yerba: Salta Sunrise and Salta Sunset are 3 oz (85 g) blends. The Corrientes go bag is 3 oz (85 g) of traditional Argentine yerba mate.

In the box: Your chosen infuser or infusers, each with a stainless steel drip tray, plus your chosen yerba.

What can I brew in the infusers?
Any loose leaf. Yerba mate, loose leaf tea, and herbal blends all work, including our own Salta Sunrise hibiscus yerba mate blend and Salta Sunset caffeine-free herbal blend. The mesh is fine enough to hold yerba mate, which is milled smaller than most teas, so grit stays out of your cup.

How much should I use?
Enough to fill the infuser without packing it down tight, so the water can move through the leaf. Each infuser lists its capacity on its own page, and you adjust from there. A little more leaf makes a stronger cup.

How do I care for and clean it?
There is nothing to cure or season, so you can use it from the first brew. After brewing, tip out the spent leaf and rinse it under warm water. A soft brush clears anything caught in the mesh or the perforations. When it needs a deeper clean, it is dishwasher safe.

Is this meant to replace a mate gourd?
No. A gourd and bombilla is the traditional way to drink mate and the best way to share a round with friends. An infuser is for the moments a gourd was not made for, like a quick cup at your desk or a batch you brew ahead. Different job, not a replacement.

Why use a steel infuser instead of teabags?
It is reusable, so there is no paper to throw away after every cup, and it lets you brew loose leaf, including yerba mate, which rarely comes in bags. Fill it, steep, and lift it out.
